~Karscher

My name is Chris. I'll be going under the name "Karscher" for the duration of our relationship, though. I'm mostly a cartoonist. I draw funny little dudes doing funny little things, but I've always been a rabid fan of what I call "real art." Any foray I've had into the world of "real art" has been frought with disaster and wasted ink.

That was until I stumbled onto a few neat little tools while editing comics in Paint Shop Pro. Suddenly, I had the ability to express those emotions and thoughts that my tri-weekly comic (now defunct) was unable to capture. Which was just as well, as these sorts of brain droppings never make for good comedy.

So, since most of my art is going to be composite pieces made in Paint Shop Pro out of various images I've found across the internet, I'd like very much that if anyone recognizes any of my "base images," please let me know the names of the original artists so that I can talk to them and hopefully they won't be pissed that I used their work in my mashed up messes.

Some of you might be wondering, "Well, dipshit. Why didn't you keep the information when you got the images?"

The simple answer is that I never intended to showcase any of my work. I'm putting it online now based on the advice of a friend that I should distract myself with something that makes me happy. And goddammit, my art kinda does that for me. So I've signed up here to suck down the sub-culture, and figured I may as well put some shit up in the gallery because I canNOT stand to leave things blank.

So yeah. Love me or hate me, I'm gonna give this Deviant Art thing a shot.
